Families across the Lehigh Valley and the Poconos deserve price relief at the pump. That's why I recently supported bipartisan legislation to permanently allow the year-round sale of E15 fuel nationwide. E15 - a fuel blend made with 15% ethanol - is currently averaging 42 cents less per gallon than regular gasoline at participating stations. Industry estimates show nationwide access to year-round E15 could save American consumers more than $20 billion annually at the pump while supporting jobs and growing our economy.

Recently, the House passed the Nationwide Consumer and Fuel Retailer Choice Act with bipartisan support - taking an important step toward lowering fuel costs and strengthening America's energy future. The bill removes outdated restrictions that currently prevent E15 sales during summer months and creates a permanent nationwide standard that gives consumers and fuel retailers greater certainty.

Recently, we recognized National Scam Survivors Day and the millions of Americans who are impacted by scams and fraud every year. These schemes can target anyone, but seniors and vulnerable individuals are often disproportionately affected.
